Meanwhile, Boombox 2 uses the JBL PartyBoost connect feature. This allows your Boombox 2 to connect with a Flip 5 and a Pulse 4. Connecting two or more portable speakers using the PartyBoost is easy as it is similar to the JBL Connect + steps. Just play music from your smartphone to the first speaker and connect the different compatible speakers using the CONNECT button.  

How are JBL Boombox and Boombox 2 similar?

There are many similar things about Boombox and Boombox 2. Both are IPX7 rated as waterproof; these speakers can take splashes and quick dips in the water. The two have the same battery power as these are capable of 24 hours of non-stop playtime with one charge.
